Unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show held in February, the new 2020 Nissan Qashqai offers an incredible number of features combined with the versatility and efficiency buyers want from their small SUV.
The new Qashqai gets an updated design of the front and back that’s more modern while also being more refined. The 2020 Nissan Qashqai has also gotten a range of new safety features.
Indeed, the 2020 Qashqai is available with Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Intelligent Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and High Beam Assist (HBA). These features will be available on the Nissan SV and SL models.
"Our Qashqai is a critical vehicle in Nissan's popular CUV lineup; slotted strategically between the Nissan Kicks and Rogue," said Steve Rhind, director of marketing, Nissan Canada Inc. "We're committed to keeping our crossover/SUV portfolio fresh – which also includes the redesigned Murano, new Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition (pictured below) and flagship Armada. Nissan is on a roll and we're not letting up heading into 2020."
Powering the new 2020 Nissan Qashqai is still the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine of the current model with 141 horsepower. Already one of the most fuel-efficient engines in its segment, the Qashqai’s powertrain didn’t require an update.
